When Did I get to be a FAT OLD TROUT?

It's Easter, Billy Steve and I planned a special night out. Its ten years or more since we went DANCING. We used to go to dance classes but because of Billy Steve's erratic work schedule we had to stop. Our particular forte was CEROC it's not too difficult to do and it looks very impressive even when you are just a beginner. Well we used to be quite good and when we have been at a wedding or some such function and are the only ones able to Ceroc we look quite impressive... so I was really looking forward to a whole evening of dressing up and dancing with other Ceroc'ers.

It's been a long time since I got the heated brush out... and my hair gel seems to have got decidedly 'gummy', ah... best before December 2003!! That would explain it.

Never mind, still got my dancing dress...

AAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh...... Breathe in........ SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEZE!!!

............................................................... The sensitive should look away now!

WHEN DID I GET TO BE SUCH A FAT OLD TROUT? Last time I looked I was Gorgeous!!!

Too late now, bought the tickets... Really looking forward to the dancing...

Can you see the girl at the back who's wearing HOT PANTS!! Ceroc attracts all ages and shapes and sizes but even though this picture doesn't show it, there were a lot of beautiful young girls in very skimpy outfits.

And some very very pretty dresses (that fit the people wearing them).

And a guy dancing in a wheelchair. He was actually really good... and how his partner managed to avoid the wheels I don't know!

We danced and danced and danced. It has been such a long time since we did that... and it showed. But it didn't matter, we had a GREAT time and we plan to start going back to dance classes. The party was set to continue to 1am but when it got to 11:30 Billy Steve looked at me and said "we can go whenever you want you know"... well it was past our bedtime and we decided that we knew our limitations, so we came home. Tired and with swollen feet... but happy!

"I did exactly the same as him, only in high heels and backwards." Ginger Rogers.

  1. so glad you had a great time.

  2. Wow, sounds like my sort of night only my husband is a plank...not bendy at all!

  3. Jude I don't think it matters if you aren't bendy... people with two left feet do it as well!
