Tomatoes!

Today I have been thinking about home made tomato soup, home made tomato ketchup and home made tomato salsa........... Here is a picture of my tomato soup



And here is a picture of the tomato ketchup.........


What? Can't you see it? This might only be a tiny seedling but contained within it is everything it will ever be, all my summer salads, my autumn ketchup, all those family meal times full of laughter. All that sunshine and rain and cloudy days too... Gosh....I had no idea that being a gardener would be so 'profound'.

  1. Ah, the anticipation of that very first sun-warmed, ripe tomato. It is sad that some folks don't 'get it' at all. More maters for us!
